“Laapataa Ladies” Official Entry For The Oscars 2025

The Film Federation of India has chosen director Kiran Rao’s “Laapataa Ladies” as India’s official entry for the Oscars 2025. After reviewing many films from different industries, FFI picked “Laapataa Ladies”.

The film has received a lot of attention from its OTT release and has connected well with each and every viewer.

Kiran Rao director of the film expressed her excitement about the nomination, saying, “It would be a dream come true if this film reaches the Oscars”.

“It’s a journey, and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves. Ultimately, I believe the best film will win”.

Now, everyone is eagerly waiting to see how it performs at the Oscars in the Best Foreign Film category.
