Laal Singh Chaddha trailer: Falls short of the expectations

The highly-anticipated theatrical trailer for Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha was released last night during the strategic time out at IPL season grand final match. The 2 minutes 45 seconds trailer showcases Aamir Khan in the titular role and his different stages of life.

Being a physically handicapped, what kind of challenges will Laal face in his life journey right from childhood? Laal’s bonding with his mother ( role played by Mona Singh) and how overcomes myriad tasks in life and become an Army officer? His emotional love story with Roopa( Kareena Kapoor), are expected to be the main crux of the film. Though the film marks the Bollywood debut for Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya, he is hardly seen in a couple of glimpses in the promo. Overall, Laal Singh Chaddha trailer is flat and has no exciting moments in it.

Being directed by Aamir Khan’s manager, Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is gearing up a pan-India release on August 11, 2022.
