A couple of days back we reported that Kushi starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha in the lead roles resumed its shooting. Meanwhile, the fresh update is that Samantha who took a brief gap from the film’s sets due to health issues joined the sets on March 8th.
As March 8th marks International Women’s Day, the team even celebrated Samantha’s rejoin on the sets. A picture of Samantha cutting cake came out in which hero Vijay Deverakonda, director Shiva Nirvana and the production team are seen cheering Samantha’s comeback on the sets.
It is widely known that the film was temporarily kept on hold as Sam suffered from health issues a few months back. Already news came out that Kushi wrapped up seventy percent of its shooting part. On the other hand, the news is also coming in that the team is planning to wrap up the entire shooting part by April end and release the film in June. The exact release date of the film is likely to be out in the next couple of months.
Touted as a romantic drama, Kushi is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Malayalam music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing soundtracks for the film. Apart from Kushi, Vijay Deverakonda has yet another crazy project under the direction of Gowtam Tinnanuri in the pipeline. Coming to Samantha, apart from Kushi, Samantha has a new web series with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan. Said to be an official remake of the Russo Brothers’ American show, Citadel, the project being directed by director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
