Kriti Sanon has revealed that she chose to freeze her eggs because she is not planning to get married anytime soon and wanted to preserve her fertility for the future.
Speaking on a podcast the actress said she underwent the procedure while preparing for her National Award winning film Mimi, as her body was already going through hormonal changes for sure.
Kriti shared that this process involved hormone injections, bloating and mood swings but she was able to complete it in a single cycle for sure.
She said she wanted to make this decision without feeling pressured by the age or society expectations about marriage and motherhood.
Kriti also said she was very much lucky to afford the procedure. She was recently seen in Cocktail 2 which failed at the box office.
