Krishnarjuna Yuddham to become first flop for Nani ?

Nani, the Natural Star of Telugu Cinema, has seen flops and hits but recently, he started a huge streak of successes from 2015. Last year, two of his films, Nenu Local and MCA, Middle Class Abbayi, became huge blockbusters taking his market to next level. The actor tried to mix up both class and mass roles in his new film, KrishnaArjuna Yuddham, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The movie turned out to be a below average entertainer, as per the critics.

Common audience somehow did not show much interest to watch the film. The movie seemed to have good album, a big hit song and the star hero in two roles. Still, it did not attract an audience to the theatres. The collections have dipped big time over the weekend and Monday started off on the even weaker note. Nani, surprised many with MCA and Nenu Local collections as many written them off, but this time the release timing seems to have affected the film further.

This is his first movie after his last four films to not hit one Million USD mark in US box office. Also, the first day collections were good but after that, the collections have been very poor. Many trade experts said that due to Rangasthalam and Bharat Ane Nenu, the movie suffered hugely. Rangasthalam has become a huge success while Bharat Ane Nenu, is making all the noise. With two films of big heroes squeezing up the publicity slots, Nani’s film couldn’t aggressively promote it and the word-of-mouth is also not that positive. Looks like the movie could end up being the first flop in years for Nani.
