“Krishnamma” Is Streaming On OTT Platform Even As It Continues Its Theatrical Run

The movie Krishnamma starring Satyadev was released on May 10. Presented by Koratala Siva, this film was produced by Krishna Kommalapati under the banner of Arunachala Creations and directed by V.V. Gopalakrishnan.

It is based on the 2007 murder of a minor girl named Ayesha in Andhra Pradesh. Despite the initial anticipation, the film received only average reviews after its first show.

Although the movie had a decent start at the box office, the collections declined significantly after the weekend.

The movie Krishnamma is streaming on Amazon Prime Video from today which Is from 17 May 2024.

This quick transition to OTT breaks the usual industry practice of a minimum five-week theatrical window, a rule previously bent for films like Salaar and Guntur Kaaram.

The early OTT release might not cause any disturbance in the industry.
