Director Koratala Siva’s last film was Bharat Ane Nenu with Mahesh Babu, which released in 2018. It has been two years after that and the director seems to be taking his sweet time for his next. He waited for Chiranjeevi for a long time for his film Acharya to go on floors. Finally, after a long wait, Acharya has gone on floors and the filmmaker has drafted elaborate plans to rope in Mahesh Babu to do a cameo in the film. While it was almost confirmed, it now looks like Koratala Siva’s plans are not going to be successful because of business prospects.
Reportedly, Acarya’s worth in the trade circuit will remain the same with or without Mahesh Babu’s inclusion. Hence, the production house is thinking of roping in an actor who charges less amount and use the remaining amount for the film’s post-production work or promotions. Also, many felt that Mahesh Babu will steal the attention away from Chiranjeevi if he were to do a cameo. There are high chances for Korata Siva’s plan to fail and hence the director is trying his best to make the combination happen.
