Director Koratala Siva has not had a release in three years. His last release was Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu in 2018, and the director has been busy with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya ever since then.
The shooting of Acharya was delayed due to several reasons initially and then was delayed after the shoot began, due to the second wave of coronavirus. The shooting of Acharya was once again delayed due to the lockdown due to the second wave of coronavirus, and the shooting is yet to resume. It is being said that the shooting for Acharya will resume next month and that there are only 12 days of shoot left.
On the other hand, it is being said that Koratala has informed everyone that he is planning to release the film in October. An official confirmation on the same is yet to be made. Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead in Acharya, while Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde are playing important cameos, and Mani Sharma is the music director of the film. Once Koratala wraps up Acharya, he will begin preparing for his film with NTR, which will be an immediate follow up to Rajamouli’s RRR
