Koratala Siva, the most successful director of Telugu Film Industry after the likes of SS Rajamouli and Trivikram Srinivas, has decided to take legal action on the writer, who claimed that the director copied his story. According to the reports, the director has decided to move to court against Rajesh Manduri for alleging that the director copied his story, just by looking at the motion poster of Acharya.
The director did not react to the allegations that he faced for his films – Bharat Ane Nenu and Janatha Garage, Srimanthudu. He settled the issue in Telugu Chamber of Commerce and Writer’s Union. But this time, as the writer came out in media to make it a big issue, the director with the help of his producer, Niranjan Reddy decided to file a defamation suite against the writer, Rajesh. Rajesh claimed that director copied the story from him as Mythri Movie Makers, producers of his Srimanthudu and Janatha Garage, narrated his story, “Peddayana” to the director, without his consent. Producers have denied his allegations. Even Rajesh has moved to court against the director and producers, say reports.
