Koratala reveals the shoot status of Acharya

Due to the pandemic crisis, the shooting for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming social drama, Acharya was stalled in the month of April. If not Covid break, the film was supposed to wrap up the entire shooting formalities and hit the screens on May 13th but is now postponed indefinitely.

Meanwhile, in a recent online media interaction, the film’s director Koratala Siva revealed that twenty more days of shoot is left for the movie. He also revealed that if the prevailing Covid circumstances return to normalcy soon, the team is planning to resume the shooting from July and wrap up it by August.

Also starring Ram Charan in a crucial role, Acharya has Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde as the female leads. The movie is being bankrolled by Matinee Entertainments banner in association with Konidela Production company. Mani Sharma is scoring soundtracks for this high budget film.
