Director Koratala Siva has been busy with his upcoming film Acharya, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role, for more than two years now. The film has been postponed and delayed due to several reasons, including both the waves of the coronavirus pandemic. While the talkie part of the film is wrapped up, Koratala still has 20 days of shoot left out.
These 20 days comprise of two songs, one of which will star Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, while the second one will star Pooja Hegde and Ram Charan. Koratala is said to be waiting for the dates of the actors to get done with the shooting of these songs. On the other hand, the release date of Acharya hasn’t been announced yet, and speculations are still said to be going on about the same.
After wrapping up Acharya, Koratala has to direct NTR in his 30th film, which would be an immediate follow-up to RRR, directed by Rajamouli, which is currently scheduled to release on October 13th this year. There are several speculations that the film’s release would be postponed, but an official confirmation is yet to be given by Rajamouli, and the same is expected to be done after he is done shooting for the songs.
