Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, a veteran Congress leader, was chosen as the state’s Minister of Cinematography in the recent Telangana assembly elections. His party won 64 seats, and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy swore in 12 new cabinet members, including Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy.

Assigned to the road construction and cinematography departments, Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, who represents Nalgonda as an MLA, begins his duties today. This isn’t his first ministerial role; he previously held multiple portfolios during Rajasekhar Reddy’s tenure in 2009. However, he later resigned during the Telangana movement, advocating against the government’s authoritarianism.

Formerly, Talasani Srinivas Yadav held the cinematography ministry in Telangana. With Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy taking over, there’s speculation about the potential revival of the Nandi Awards for the Telugu film industry. Soon, film industry figures plan to meet him to extend their regards.

Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, a seasoned Congress leader, has assumed ministerial responsibilities again, this time overseeing road construction and cinematography in Telangana. His past experience and reentry into government service signal potential changes in the state’s cinematic landscape and infrastructure development.
