Natural Star Nani and Keerthy Suresh’s rustic drama, Dasara is slated for a pan-India release on March 30, 2023, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages simultaneously. As the release date is nearing, the makers are promoting the film on an aggressive note across the country.
To date, three songs from the audio album and a promotional teaser are out from the team which have been receiving positive feedback from moviegoers. Recently, Nani event promoted Dasara in Chennai and Lucknow.
Meanwhile, in a recent web interaction when Nani was asked who is his inspiration, the Natural actor replied, “Including ace director Mani Ratnam, stars like Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are my inspiration”. Nani even added that he grow up watching Tamil films and they have a strong impact on him.
Set in the Godavarikhani coal mines backdrop, Nani’s transformation with long hair and a thick beard has been receiving positive feedback from the netizens. Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara is set in the 80s time period in Telangana. Co-starring Saikumar and Samuthirakani in key roles, the film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri. Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer for this pan-India project.
Already news came out that Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights of Nani’s Dasara. Earlier, the rights are originally with the Chadalavada brothers. As per the inside reports, the Chadalavada brothers acquired Dasara theatrical rights for Rs 24 crore but after witnessing the response for the first look teaser top producer cum distributor Dil Raju bagged the rights by offering Rs 28 crore.
