Kiran Rathod known for her debut in the Tamil film Gemini, is facing a distressing situation. A fake obscene video, created using morphed visuals of her, has gone viral online.
Taking to Insta, Kiran confirmed the video is fake and said it has deeply hurt her dignity and reputation. She has filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime unit, and investigations are currently underway.
Kiran urged people not to share or download such videos stressing that doing so is a crime. She asked followers to be responsible, report such content, and help raise awareness about the dangers of morphed media.
In the past, Kiran faced criticism for launching a paid app offering video and audio calls with fans.
While the move sparked backlash, she continued engaging fans through glamorous social media posts. Though no longer in lead roles, Kiran remains a well-known figure in the South film industry.
