Vijay Devarakonda is eagerly waiting for the release of his next film Kingdom, an action drama directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
The movie’s release has been delayed multiple times for different reasons and is now planned to hit screens on July 4th.
Though the main shoot was completed a month ago, fans have been curious about why Vijay is still seen in the same look and hasn’t started his next project.
The reason is that after watching the final cut, the director and team felt some scenes needed to be reshot. A schedule was recently completed in Goa, and patchwork is currently going on.
Vijay has already shot these additional scenes. Meanwhile, music director Anirudh requested more time to finish the re-recording, leading to another delay.
With the extra time, the team decided to improve a few portions. Bhagyashree Borse is the heroine, and Sithara Entertainments is bankrolling the project, which has good expectations.
