Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film, Custody, an intense drama by critically acclaimed Kollywood filmmaker Venkat Prabhu has recently wrapped up the entire shooting formalities. The makers have already announced that Custody will have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil on May 12th.

Meanwhile, for the past few days, Naga Chaitanya fans are pressurizing director Venkat Prabhu to unveil the first look teaser of Custody. Responding to the comments on social media, this afternoon Venkat Prabhu tweeted”Dear #ChayFans can totally understand ur excitement!! #custodyTeaser work is happening!! Will announce the release date ASAP!! Please kindly bare with us!!”. Custody also stars Arvind Swami and Priyamani in key roles is well-established news. The team has already revealed the first look character poster of Arvind Swami. In the poster, Arvind Swami is seen in a dangerous makeover as Raju AKA Raazu.

Chay will be seen as a cop in this social drama.’You must be the change, You wish to see in the World’, a famous quotation from the ‘Father of the Nation’ Gandhi is the tagline for Custody. The first-look posters of Custody which are unveiled a few months back give hint that Custody is not going to be a regular cop drama. Along with loads of action, the film is likely to deal with various social aspects as well.

Specialty of Custody is that for the first time, Mastero Ilayaraja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja are jointly composing soundtracks for the film. Being bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, Custody has young beauty Krithi Shetty as the female lead. The film marks the second time collaboration of Chay and Krithi after last year’s released rural entertainer, Bangarraju.
