Namratha, wife of Mahesh Babu, has become godmother to the actor’s latest film heroine, Kiara Advani. Godfathers and godmothers are those people in Industry, who stays behind you to help you get good opportunities and recommend you to several of their contacts. Ghantasala Balaramaiah, is godfather of ANR in TFI. Similarly, Namratha became godmother to Kiara Advani.
She is the one to tell Koratala Siva and his team to check her performance in MS Dhoni and her various photographs. While they had many other actresses in their head, they went with her recommendation after watching the film and the photos. Kiara did not accept the offer and it is Namratha, who made her realise what kind of a lucrative offer she is missing out on and the actress is know happy to have listened to Namratha.
She said, “I am thankful to Namratha. She is highly kind towards me and Mahesh Babu’s family is like part of my family now. I have to thank Koratala Siva garu and producer DVV Dannaya garu for the opportunity.” She also revealed that she shot for a day on the sets of RC12 in the direction of Boyapati Srinu and she wants to join the shoot as soon as possible.
