Maddock Films has announced plans to create a massive Horror-Comedy Universe with eight interconnected films releasing over the next four years.
One of these films Shakti Shalini is set to hit screens on December 31st 2025 and will feature Kiara Advani in the lead role.
The movie inspired by Indian folklore will be directed by Ajitpal Singh known for his critically acclaimed series Tabbar.
Shakti Shalini will be the fifth standalone film in the franchise following popular hits like Stree and Bhediya. This supernatural comedy aims to bring a fresh perspective while staying connected to the larger universe.
The production is expected to begin in April or May 2025. The story promises a mix of folklore-based horror and humor, offering something unique compared to the earlier films in the series.
