Khushi Mukherjee’s Statement Sparks Major Controversy

Actress Khushi Mukherjee is in trouble after her recent comments about Indian T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav. Social media influencer Faizan Ansari has filed a Rs 100 crore defamation case against her calling her remarks false and damaging.

The controversy began when Khushi spoke at a public event about dating cricketers. She said she had no plans to date one but claimed that many cricketers showed interest in her. She also mentioned Suryakumar Yadav name and said that he used to message her earlier though they are no longer in touch.

Her statement soon went viral on social media and sparked backlash. On January 13th Faizan filed a complaint at the Ghazipur police station reportedly travelling from Mumbai for the same.

He accused Khushi of making the statement as a publicity stunt and said it could harm the reputation of a cricketer who represents the country. He demanded strict action and a jail term.

Ansari later shared a video on X, stating that he would stay in Ghazipur until an FIR is registered. Khushi Mukherjee has acted in South films, reality shows and a film with Arbaaz Khan.
