It is not jumping the gun early, neither it is estimating too much but the euphoria around the prestigious comeback of Megastar Chiranjeevi on screen should be said as an absolute success at least in terms of gaining the brilliant openings and leaving behind all other festival releases especially, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni. Everywhere in two telugu states, rest of India and Overseas, the demand for tickets is humongous and with wide release of 2503 theatres worldwide already 2000 theatres are showing housefull status for the first day for all the four shows to five shows on an average per one. Multiplexes, early morning shows, benefit shows, morning extra shows all are already sold out at the highest possible rates and black ticketers are using the situation to their advantage.
In Hyderabad itself, not even one ticket is available on first day that too on a working day. The movie releasing before Gautamiputra Satakarni, scheduled on 12th for a certain advantage and the makers are seeing it unfold like never before. The advance bookings for all through the week is also high and Gautamiputra is already looking pale in comparison. The comeback movie was not expected by many to create such a storm which was earlier noted for Kabali in both the states and all over India featuring Rajnikanth but after a decade, Chiranjeevi too has proved why he was called NumeroUno for the long time that he enjoyed.
It is not just telugu states but even the shows in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and overseas, in Australia, USA and NZ, mainly are already sold out and the premieres are listed at the highest for any Telugu Film, since Bahubali. With clearly Megastar winning the opening battle, what will Gautamiputra Satakarni do to regain the lost ground and win the long race? .. All said and done, Boss really seems to be BACK!
