The makers of the upcoming film, KGF 2, approached the Andhra Pradesh government a few days ago, for a hike in the ticket price for the film, hoping that the AP government would extend the same courtesy to them, as they did with RRR.
However, with no cabinet in place currently – due to the shuffling of the AP cabinet, the ticket prices for KGF 2 are highly unlikely to increase. On the other hand, the makers of Acharya and Sarkaru Vaari Paata have also approached the AP government for a ticket price hike, but since the cabinet would be back in place at the time of the release of these films, it is expected that their ticket prices would be hiked.
KGF 2 is the sequel to the 2018 film KGF, directed by Prashant Neel, starring Yash in the lead role. The trailer for the second part was released a few days ago, which increased the already high expectations on the film. KGF 2 is all set to be released on April 14th.
