KGF set to dominate New Years’ Eve weekend too

KGF Chapter 1 came as a surprise to everyone when many are expecting Anthariksham and Padi Padi Leche Manasu are expected to dominate Christmas and New Years’ Eve well leading to Sankranthi biggies.

But the two movies along with Friday releases including Idam Jagath, Bluff Master are unable to find enough traction at the box office. KGF and surprise hit Hushaaru have replaced films at many screens.

KGF collected more than Rs. 5 crores share till now for Rs. 9.65 crores gross in Telugu states. It is the biggest collection for any dubbed film from Kannada and even it is the new Industry hit in Karnataka.

Movie got great reception even in Hindi but Tamil and Malayalam versions haven’t been such huge. Movie is racing for Rs.150 crores gross at the Indian Box Office and that is a first for any Kannada Cinema too
