The makers of the highly-anticipated pan-India project, KGF Chapter 2 have already made an official announcement that the film will hit the screens on July 16, 2021. But due to prevailing Corona second wave circumstances, the film’s postponement is inevitable.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz circulating among film circles is that the team looking at two options for the film’s new release date. As per the inside reports, if the Covid situation returns to normalcy by August then the film will have a theatrical release during Independent Day weekend or else opt for a Dusshera festive release in October.
This Prashant Neel directorial has a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster, KGF Chapter 1. Starring Sandalwood star Yash in the lead role, in part two, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt is playing a key as Adheera. Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Rao Ramesh will be seen in other prominent roles. Being bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur, the film has its music composed by Ravi Basrur.
