KGF: Chapter 2, starring Yash in the lead role, and directed by Prashanth Neel, is one of the most highly anticipated films in India currently. The first chapter of the film performed exceptionally well at the box office, throughout India, and managed to become a pan-Indian hit. As a result, a bigger cast is involved in the second instalment, with Sanjay Dutt playing the antagonist in the sequel.
The second part of KGF was supposed to release on July 30th this year but got postponed due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic in the country. Post that, the team of the films announced that they would be releasing the film only when it was safe for everyone to go to the theatres, without any second thoughts in their minds.
It has now been officially announced that the second chapter of KGF would be releasing on 14th April 2022, for next year’s summer. Summer is usually a big season for all film industries in India, as it marks the holiday season for kids and adults as well. Given that KGF 2 is one of the most highly anticipated films, it is expected that the film would receive a good amount of audience members next year.
