Tamil star Ajith Kumar’s new film under the direction of Vignesh Shivn was formally announced a few months back. Tentatively titled AK62, the film is likely to go on the floors from this month end.
We had already reported that AK62 will have a Mumbai backdrop. News also came out that digital giant Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of AK62 for a whopping price.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that Ajith will be seen as a middle-aged person with two kids in the film. Reportedly, Santhanam and Aravind Swami are locked for key roles.
Being bankrolled by Lyca Productions, either Vignesh Shivn’s wife cum star heroine Nayanthara or Keerthy Suresh will be on board for the female lead role. More details are awaited.
