Rajamouli is shaping SSMB29 as a global entertainer. With international locations, big stars and a massive budget, the film is being promoted on a worldwide scale. A large part of the shoot is happening in Africa and creating buzz across the globe.
Rajamouli and his team recently spent weeks in Kenya filming great sequences at Masai Mara and Naivasha. The Kenyan government expressed happiness over Rajamouli choosing their country for such a high-profile project.
On the final day of the schedule, Rajamouli met Kenya’s cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi. Sharing the update on X, Musalia praised him as a visionary storyteller and revealed that 120 crew members worked on key scenes in Kenya’s scenic landscapes.
He also announced that SSMB29 will release in 120 countries, targeting over a billion viewers. After wrapping the Kenya schedule the team will soon return to India. Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead.
