Kennedy, an upcoming police noir film from Zed Studios and Good Bad Films, has been persistently lingering in the gossip circles. The movie centers on an insomniac cop who wanders through various situations while seeking redemption. Dignitaries at the national and international levels are continuously praising the movie in various ways. Anurag Kashyap, a director, has reached the Sydney Film Festival, where he will serve as the head of the Main Competition Jury.
Anurag Kashyap will serve as the head of the jury for the Sydney Film Festival together with the Australian actress Mia Wasikowska, the German journalist and curator Dorothee Wenner, the Australian author and director Larissa Behrendt, and the Australian/Sri Lankan filmmaker Visakesa Chandrasekaran. With his film Kennedy, Anurag has continued the trend of paving the road for the country’s greatness after earning a spot among the five film experts from around the world.
In addition to this, Kennedy is the first Indian movie to premiere in the midnight area at 12:15 a.m. at one of the world’s most prestigious theatres, The Grand Lumiere Theatre, during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. Anurag exhibited films including “Raman Raghav 2.0,” “Ugly,” “Bombay Talkies,” and the two-part gangster drama “Gangs of Wasseypur” at the Cannes Film Festival in the past. Surprisingly, the audience gave the movie a seven-minute standing ovation.
Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone star in Anurag Kashyap’s Kennedy, which was written and directed by him. Zed Studios and Ranjan Singh & Kabir Ahuja of Good Bad Films produced the movie. Sylvester Fonseca is the film’s DOP. In collaboration with Aamir Aziz & Boyblanck, Ashish Narula wrote the soundtrack for the movie. Both Tanya Chhabria and Deepak Kattar edited the movie. Dr. Akshay Indikar and Kunal Sharma did the movie’s sound design.
