Keerthy Suresh’s version of Saand ki Aankh: Good Luck Sakhi

Keerthy Suresh won National Award for her performance in the film, Mahanati. She played the role of legendary actress, Savitri and won the prestigious prize. Now, she has legions of fans expecting something sensational again from her. Penguin, her recent movie disappointed many and she is coming up with Good Luck Sakhi. The film is written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, who won National Award for his previous films and made a great sports based film like Iqbal.

Director with Keerthy Suresh is back to make an underdog sports drama and this time it looks more closely related to Saand ki Aankh story. Even though the film tells the story of a young girl, Sakhi who is believed to be unlucky by her villagers. But her talent helps her triumph over all the naysayers. Adhi Pinisetty is playing a drama artist and Jagapathi Babu is playing the National Coach that identifies Sakhi’s talent. Performances of the actors are going to be a key for the film to make an impact. For now, the trailer looks good.
