Keerthy Suresh to replace Kajal Aggarwal?

Keerthy Suresh received National Award for Best Actress for her performance in director Nag Ashwin’s Mahanati. After the success of Mahanati, the actress took it slow before signing a bunch of films in Telugu, which are at different stages of production. Now, it looks like the actress has landed in another project. Recently, we had reported that director Teja has announced two films. It is said that he had roped in his lucky charm Kajal Aggarwal for it. However, rumours are rife that Keerthy Suresh might be roped in to play the lead role as Kajal Aggarwal has her hands full at the moment.

However, it is unclear whether Keerthy will replace Kajal Aggarwal in this film or in Alamelu Manga Venkatramana, the second film Teja had announced. If the latter turns out to be true, then Keerthy will be paired opposite Gopichand in this film, which is touted to be Teja’s favorite script. An official announcement regarding the cast and crew of the film will be made in the coming months. The two films will be produced by a noted production house. As of now, Keerthy has Miss India, Good Luck Sakhi and Rang De in her kitty.
