Keerthy Suresh to act in Yesteryear classic’s sequel?

Keerthy Suresh is the new destination for the filmmakers to make a women-centric film. After Mahanati, many filmmakers have approached her to sign in new projects. Her latest movie in women-centric role Penguin released in Amazon Prime and did well. Keerthy Suresh is currently acting in two women-centric movies Miss India and Good Luck Sakhi. Both these movies are in production stages.

Now according to the latest info, Keerthy Suresh is being considered in yesteryear classic’s sequel. Keerthy Suresh is in talks for the sequel of Erra Gulabilu that released almost forty years ago. Bharati Raja who has directed the original has penned the script for the sequel as well and his son Manoj will direct the sequel

The script work is completed and the makers are busy finalizing the cast and crew for the sequel. It is known that Kamal Hassan and Sridevi have played the lead roles in the original which has been etched as a classic.
