Keerthy Suresh saw success in the year, 2016 with movies Nenu Shailaja, Remo, Rajini Murugan in both Telugu and Tamil. Even though her films with popular stars like Vijay, Bairavaa and Dhanush, Thodari did not end up being successes, her craze among the young audience, made producers to offer her a remuneration upto 1.5 crores. In Telugu, her movie with Nani, Nenu Local proved to be her second straight success in Telugu.
At the moment, she has two Tamil movies ready for release this Summer and from April second week, she will start shooting for Trivikram Srinivas and Pawan Kalyan movie. By the end of the month, April or first week of May, she will also start shooting for her movie based on Legendary actress Savitri’s life history.
Since the movie needed her to give bulk dates as the movie will be shot as bilingual in Telugu and Tamil, the producers of the movie decided to pay her three crores, as remuneration. This is the staggering amount that even the actors dream to receive for any film. While the other producers are finding it difficult to reason with the actress about her hike, the actress is adamant and she is giving suggestions to market their film in Tamil as well, with her in the lead.
