Soon after released online, on social media platforms, we have been witnessing a rousing response to SS Rajamouli ‘s recently released pre-independence patriotic drama. Starring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, the film has been receiving an overwhelming response not only from Indians but also from foreigners.
But noted Indian sound designer Resul Pookutty commented that RRR is a gay love story. Quoting Resul’s tweet, Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda wrote: “I don’t think @RRRMovie is a gay love story as you say but even if it was, is “gay love story” a bad thing? How can you justify using this ? Extremely disappointed that someone of your accomplishments can stoop so low!”. As a continuous tweet reputed music director MM Keeravaani gave ” Maybe Iam bad at uSING uPPER case and loWER case whiLE tYPINg leTTERs but I reSPECT every person’s FReedoM of ExPRESsion, IncluDING OF rasool POOKUtty’s”.
Though Keeravaani later deleted the tweet, his freedom of expression tweet is doing rounds on social media platforms.
