The movie “Star” was released in theaters last month and got mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Despite this the strong anticipation around the movie made it a successful venture at the box office.
Yesterday night the movie was released on Amazon Prime Video. Currently it’s available only in Tamil with English subtitles and there is no information yet about a Telugu dubbed version.
“Star” follows different stages of Kavin’s life, where he impressively plays various roles, including one in a lady’s getup. Kavin’s performance has been praised for its excellence.
Directed by Elan, known for “Pyaar Prema Kaadhal,” the cast of “Star” includes Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundan, Lal and Geetha Kailasam.
The cinematography is by Ezhil Arasu K and the editing is by Pradeep E Ragav. The movie was produced by B.V.S.N Prasad and Sreenidhi Sagar.
