Pawan Kalyan, the craziest hero of Telugu Cinema today, once again proved his star power with opening day collections. The man who is revered as Powerstar by his fans, maintained his simplicity in promotions as well. The team of Katamarayudu kept it low-key and many did not know that a big star like Pawan Kalyan’s movie is releasing this weekend. Still, the movie collected Top 5 shares on the opening day. In many areas, it even surpassed the Bahubali records and Khaidi No 150 records too.
The trade circles did not expect such euphoria looking at the promotions but looking at the figures, Pawan Kalyan doesn’t need huge promotions to bring in a sizeable audience. The film is released in record number of theatres and at few centres even though the movie did not record house fulls, but still due to number of theatres, the collections are on high side.
The opening day collections, reported to be 24 crores Share World Wide. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana share is reported to be at 18 crores, approximately. The collections on the first day for the two Telugu states is said to be Non Bahubali day one record. Well, the figures don’t lie and the fans of the star hero are elated.
