Karthi’s Birthday Special: A sequel to this cult drama on the cards

Released two years ago, Kollywood star Karthi’s emotional thriller, Kaithi ( Khaidi in Telugu) ended up as a super hit at the box office. Directed by young filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film was produced by SR Prabhu.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Karthi’s birthday, we bring a piece of good news that a sequel to cult drama, Khaidi is on the cards. Reportedly, SR Prabhu and director Lokesh are keen on taking the film on the sets in 2023.

Currently, Karthi is busy with Sardaar. On the other hand, Lokesh Kanagaraj should also wrap up Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and a project with Thalapathy Vijay before joining forces with Karthi for Kaithi’s sequel.
