The trailer for the sequel to Nikhil Siddharth’s 2014 movie, Karthikeya, Karthikeya 2, has been released today. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, who wrote and directed the original, there have been good expectations on the film since its announcement, owing to the success of the first film.
Anupama Parameswaran is the leading lady in this film, which also features Bollywood actor Anupam Kher in a key role. The trailer only gave the audiences the slightest glimpse into the intricate world of Karthikeya 2. The trailer establishes that the film is going to be rich in history and mythology and that it’s going to heavily question everything we know as well.
The trailer also establishes that everything in life is interlinked, and nothing exists in solitude. The film’s release date has also been announced along with the trailer, with the film all set to be released on July 22nd in theatres. With the trailer being called the first trailer, it should be seen if there would be any other trailer, and what more that trailer would show.
