Karthikeya 2 Gets Stronger on Zee5

Nikhil Siddhartha’s recently released film, Karthikeya 2, which was released in August, was one of the films that once again brought a hit streak to Tollywood, along with Bimbisara and Sita Ramam, after several months of flops. The film was not only a grand success in the Telugu states, but became a major sensation nation wide, grossing over 100 Crores.

Karthikeya 2 is a sequel to Karthikeya, directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Anupama Parameswaran is the leading lady of the film, while Viva Harsha and Srinivas Reddy were seen in key roles in the film. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher played an important part in the film, with his part becoming one of the major highlights of the film.

The film was recently released on OTT, and created quite a sensation on OTT as well. The film was released on Zee5 on the occasion of Dasara, and it has been reported that it has closed in 100 Crore viewing minutes within just 48 hours of its premiere, which is a huge record.
