Karthikeya 2 dominating Bollywood

Nikhil Siddharth’s much-awaited film, Karthikeya 2, the sequel to the 2014 film, written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, who made his directorial debut with the first film, was released on August 13th. The film carried a good buzz from the very beginning and has managed to entertain the audience upon its release, thanks to genre and screenplay.

Interestingly, the film was released across India and has been doing very well at the box office. Karthikeya 2 has reportedly managed to surpass the collections and the hype surrounding the two Bollywood films that were released along with it, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan. This comes as a great piece of information for the makers and for the Telugu audience as well.

While the exact numbers are yet unknown, it is safe to say that Karthikeya 2 is dominating Bollywood. On the other hand, Karthikeya 2 features Anupama Parameswaran as the leading lady, while Bollywood actor Anupam Kher was seen in an important role.
