Comedian Karthik Kumar responded to recent accusations regarding his sexuality in a social media video titled “For all the click baits,” addressing remarks made by his former wife, singer Suchitra.
Reports circulated about Suchitra‘s allegations that Karthik was gay and had a close relationship with Dhanush, as published by Tamil One India.
On Tuesday, Karthik did not directly address Suchitra’s claims but emphasized his pride in being part of the LGBTQ+ community and expressed support for it.
In an Instagram video, Karthik stated, “If I am homosexual, I would not be ashamed. I would be very proud to embrace any kind of sexuality within the diverse spectrum out there.
I stand with pride and will join pride rallies in my city.” While not explicitly referencing his ex-wife’s accusations, the video conveyed a message of LGBTQ+ inclusion and garnered praise for his supportive stance.
Suchitra’s statements included allegations against Karthik and Dhanush, claiming a close relationship between them.
Suchitra also made claims about Dhanush and Aishwarya’s marriage issues in a separate video with Kumudham YouTube channel.
