Karthi to get a makeover for Mani Ratnam’s next

We have some interesting news about Karthi who etched a place in the T’town cine-goer’s hearts with Oopiri. We hear that the actor will now be acting in stalwart filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s next and will be going for a
complete makeover. He will lose weight, work out in a gym and go through some rigorous dietary and training sessions to fit the role. Apparently famous stylists have been roped in from Mumbai to assist Karthi in the
makeover process.

And guess who’s playing the female lead in the story! The goregeous Aditi rao Hydari. The movie is touted to be a modern romance which will have a lot of relatable moments, we hear. The music will be provided by
AR Rahman. The shooting will begin in July, till then the actors are busy preparing for the role. The movie will be shot in Chennai and Shimla, say sources.
