Karthi has established himself as the marketable actor in Telugu states too. His recent film, Khakhee became a success for him in Tamil and Telugu languages. The movie made him confident about trying even bigger subjects and the actor is looking to give chances to younger filmmakers with different ideas and screenplays. He already finished much of the shoot for his movie in Tamil and started another film too.
Both the films are scheduled to release this year and by the end of this year, Karthi wants to start a new film, a bilingual. Venu Udugula, the director of Needi Naadi Oke Kadha, could direct the movie. A source in the know said, “The young director’s story impressed Karthi and he wants the full script to be developed in both the languages, before going for a shoot.”
Karthi initially got to know about the film, Needi Naadi Oke Kadha and asked Venu Udugula to come up with a script for him. He liked the story and idea, the director narrated and asked him for a full script. Once the actor finishes his recent film and completes at least one schedule of his next film, he will sit and finalize this bilingual script it seems. Currently, TFPC is under total lockdown so the actor is waiting for the strike to end amicably and projects to resume their work in Tamil Cinema.
