Karthi Balances Between Delays And New Projects

Actor Karthi is getting ready to start shooting for director Thamizh’s Marshall. Initially he was expected to begin Kaithi 2 in 2026 but the sequel might face further delays.

Reports suggest that Lokesh Kanagaraj could direct a massive film with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan which would push Kaithi 2 further.

If that happens Karthi may use the gap to team up with director Sundar C for a new project, possibly starting in December 2025. However there’s no official confirmation yet.

Meanwhile Karthi’s much-delayed Vaa Vaathiyaar earlier planned for Pongal, is now expected to release by the end of 2025.

His sequel Sardar 2 directed by P.S. Mithran has completed shooting and is in post-production but its release date is still unknown.

With Kaithi 2 pending Vaa Vaathiyaar delayed and Sardar 2 waiting for release everyone are eagerly looking forward to Karthi’s next big-screen appearance.
