Superstar Rajnikanth has introduced a trend with promotions of his new movie, 2.0. The producers have announced the teaser, trailer and audio release dates along with film release date in advance. Similarly, Suriya too decided to announce his next film, Taana Serndha Koottam release date, Teaser release date and Trailer release date. Also, a time table of singles has been released by the team.
Now, following the trend, Karthi has announced his next film, Khakhi’s three important dates. He decided to release teaser of the film on 27th of September. Post that a theatrical trailer will be released on 17 th of October and 22nd of October, audio will be released. The movie release has been confirmed for 17th of November. Before, Karthi looked at Diwali and Dussehra dates to release his film but Dussehra has been booked by Mahesh, Spyder and Diwali by Vijay, Mersal. So he went ahead with November 17th date.
In this movie Rakul Preet Singh is acting along with Karthi. This is almost her Tamil debut film. The movie is a cop drama and it is directed by H. Vinod who previously directed Saturanga Vettai. Karthi needs a success now as his previous two films Kashmora and Cheliyaa have been flops both in Telugu and Tamil. With this movie, Aditya music is entering into film production.
