Tamil star Karthi who was never keen to be a part of multi-starrers, told in his recent interview that he said “yes” to Oopiri because it offered him the great chance of acting with Tollywood legend Nagarjuna.
Having said that he added, “I think he looks younger than me in this film,” says the actor who is all praise for the Telugu film star. He also told in his recent interview, “I observed him during the film’s shoot and found him to be a meticulous worker. He is very regular with his workouts and maintains a strict diet. His schedule is disciplined, he goes to bed early and wakes up early. But then, his positive attitude is also a reason he is physically fit. A happy mind means a healthy body, isn’t it?,” he says, adding, “He is very relaxed on the set. Until now, I have only heard about the ‘live in the moment’ attitude, but I got to see that in him. It was great working with him.”
Oopiri, which is the remake of French film The Intouchables, sees Nagarjuna play a rich quadriplegic and sees Karthi as his caretaker. The film which also stars Tamannaah and Prakash Raj is set to release on March 26th.
