Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan spoke up about the rumoured “huge fight” she and Priyanka Chopra allegedly had, in which they “almost came to blows.”
Bollywood film and celebrities have long-standing rivalries. Bollywood stars have engaged in numerous street fights, many of them between each other. The early 2000s cat fight involving Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra is one of the most talked about.
The 2004 Akshay Kumar film Aitraaz marked the first time Kareena and Priyanka shared a screen together. But following the film’s premiere, there were rumours of a falling out between them. According to reports, they were doing a combined concert in Antwerp, Belgium, when tensions reportedly broke out.
Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan spoke up about the rumoured “huge fight” she and Priyanka Chopra allegedly had, in which they “almost came to blows.” No, no, no, all trash, Bebo stated in a chat with Mid-Day. I asked myself, “What’s going on?” However, I believe that perhaps we all possessed that same drive to establish our own identities.
Kareena also talked on the competitive dynamics in the industry, where actors are often pitted against one another by the media. She also discussed the alleged prevalence of catfights in the 1990s and the first part of the 2000s. Dear God! Catfights were the norm in the 1990s; they were so popular that by 2000, everyone was getting into one. Kuch bhi bol do is catfight and say anything you want. You know, you don’t even hear those things anymore. Who can say? “Thoughts must be driving it, but things seem a bit different and more relaxed right now,” she remarked.
In her views on her twenties, Kareena Kapoor Khan said that she felt as though she was “constantly just rushing,” motivated by a need to prove herself. She expressed her desire to succeed and “be the best.” Remember from when Kareena made light of Priyanka Chopra’s accent in a third-season episode of the show? Priyanka was asked what she would like to ask Karan Johar, the host, and Kareena joked, “I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from.”
In a subsequent episode of Season 3 of Koffee With Karan, Priyanka Chopra also addressed Kareena’s previous remark regarding her accent. Priyanka had said, “I think it’s the same place that her boyfriend (now husband Saif Ali Khan) gets it from,” in response to Kareena’s “question.” After putting their past disagreements behind them, Priyanka and Kareena appeared together on season 6 of “Koffee With Karan.”
