In a recent interview, Kareena Kapoor discussed how she and husband Saif Ali Khan divide parenting responsibilities and value spending time with their children Taimur and Jeh.
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, a famous couple, have frequently discussed splitting parenting duties. In a recent interview, Kareena mentioned how much she enjoys yoga and compared juggling her personal and professional lives to “standing on one leg.”
The actor was speaking with Variety about her upcoming roles in Hansal Mehta’s murder mystery The Buckingham Murders and Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X. The actor stated, “I’m pretty good at yoga, but it’s literally like standing on one leg,” while discussing finding a work-life balance. I’m also fortunate to have a husband that is employed by my field. When it comes to travel, we alternate. Kareena continued by saying that the family is fortunate to have support from their workers.
The actor revealed their schedule, saying that while she was filming for Hansal’s series, Saif was at home taking care of their children.
She added that she has come to realise that children only want to spend quality time with their parents, not a lot of time. In her five or six years as a mom, Kareena stated, “I’ve learnt that it’s not about the quantity of time you spend with your kids; it’s about the quality of time you give them without distraction, because kids need focus from their parents, from their teachers, from their friends.”
The two boys of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are Jeh Ali Khan, who will soon turn three, and Taimur Ali Khan, who is six years old.
