Kareena Kapoor recently marked 25 years in the film industry. In an interview, she spoke about the situations of being a female actor in a male-dominated field.
She shared that it’s tough to sustain a career while constantly reinventing yourself in Bollywood.
Reflecting on her journey, she said, “At 17 or 18, it was all about being in as many films as possible. After a decade, it becomes about reinvention, which is scary in this male-dominated industry”.

“It’s not just about success but also leaving a legacy,” she added. Coming from a well-known family, she said she feels the pressure to make her mark. To stay relevant, Kareena said she makes different choices.
