The ‘Jab We Met’ actress Kareena Kapoor Khan turned 43 this year, and she is now sharing her birthday with her sister Karisma Kapoor.
Karisma hailed her younger sister as her “lifeline” as she celebrated her birthday.
Karisma, who portrayed the adoring older sister, posted a few behind-the-scenes photos from Kareena’s birthday celebration on her Instagram Stories.
She captioned the post: “Happy Birthday to my lifeline”, sharing a picture of her younger sister cutting her birthday cake.
Sharing a picture of the birthday cake, she captioned: “Our Jaane Jaan Happy Birthday.
The “Talaash” actress was smiling broadly while cutting the cake while dressed in a traditional yellow salwar kameez. As the candles burned, they illuminated the fairly dark space and highlighted the actress’ shadow.
The “Coolie No. 1” actress captioned the photo, striking an expressive pose alongside Kareena, “Birthday Girl.”
In the picture, Karisma was standing in front of their house while dressed entirely in white. She also posted the identical image from a different right side perspective.
However, this was not the end of the matter since Karisma also reflected on the past and recalled their youthful years.
The actress posted a vintage photo of the two sisters from when they were still young while recalling childhood memories.
The image, which showed them standing side by side inside a basket in their previous residence, was representative of 1980s design. Karisma appears to be between eight and nine years old in the photo, while Kareena is a little child.
“Always by ur side, cos ur simply the best,” she wrote as the description for the photo.
“Love you the mostest,” she concluded the post. (Birthday cake, strawberry, balloon, and star emojis) Happy birthday, sister. #familyfirst.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan most recently appeared in the underwhelming movie “Laal Singh Chadda,” which also starred Aamir Khan.
The next movie featuring Karisma Kapoor is “Murder Mubarak.”
