In “Go Noni Go”, producer-director Karan Johar provides the voice for Basanti, a car driven by Noni. The car, an old red Fiat, has Karan as its voice, and he also acts as the narrator of the film.
When asked whose idea it was to have Karan voice for the car, Sameer Nair said Tanuj suggested it, though Tanuj denied it. Sameer clarified, “But you were the one who mentioned it to me”.
Was Sameer surprised by the idea? He said, “No. I was happy. Why wouldn’t I want Karan Johar to end with his famous ‘Toodles’?” There was some playful confusion about whether the idea came from Twinkle Khanna or Tanuj Garg, with Twinkle joking, “We just pretend we don’t remember whose idea it was!”
Atul Kasbekar was asked if “Go Noni Go” would be released in theaters or on a streaming platform. He confirmed that it would premiere on an OTT platform, with an announcement coming soon.
Rohan Mehra shared his thoughts on working in the film “It’s overwhelming to share the screen with such legends. I only had two scenes, but it was exciting, so I went for it”.
