Karan Johar has announced that Koffee With Karan Season 9 will be the final season of the popular celebrity chat show for sure.
He shared the news through an emotional post looking back at the show’s journey since its launch in 2004.
The show has completed eight seasons and 161 episodes over the years. Karan also recalled discussing the idea of hosting a chat show with his father, producer Yash Johar, before the first season began.
Koffee With Karan became popular for celebrity conversations, rapid-fire rounds and personal revelations, while also facing criticism and controversies.
After more than two decades, Karan has decided to end the show. Season 9 will premiere on JioHotstar on October 14th, with the guest lineup yet to be announced.
